You can use any brand in any color you desire.
Pattern terms:
ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Sl - slip stitch
fo - finish off
Ch 21
r1: sc in second ch from hook, sc across till end, ch1 , turn
r2- repeat row 1 until desired length changing colors as desired. I changed colors every 3 rows.
If your using another color for border finish off. Weave in ends.
finishing:
Fold in half , sl all around edging leaving one side open. Stuff with polyfill to desired thickness. You want it to be pretty stuffed for the pins. Continue sl on the final open end.
(using sl loops) sc 3, ch2,sc 3 in corners. Sc in next, ch3, skip 3, sc in next. Continue all the way around. Fo. Weave in ends. Enjoy your new pin cushion.
